The kids…moved me.

March 24th, 2008 by grteoh

I thought it would be a plain mission trip but I was proven wrong when my tears rolled down my cheeks…I just love the Tempasoh kids…they’re lovely, cheerful, friendly and most of all; they ~love~ me!

I was preparing to leave when 2 small girls came to me and said, "Abang Chris, janganlah pergi, tinggallah di sini." I didn’t feel anything then. Later on, a letter of which was written on a sheet of tissue paper  by 3 kids was handed over to me. As I was reading it, goodness gracious…my heart somehow softened.[Didn't cry...yet]
It reads this[Verbatim]

Elda Deborah Vitalis

Non’t for gate me OR OK for old of yo your, fridds

Source:Look out for the picture entitled "letter" in my profile.

True enough, God satisfied my desire because I really wanted to meet them again. He established another kids camp in SIB Mandap and WOOHOO! It’s a reunion of all the villages which we’ve visited! There, a girl named carolina gave me her handcraft [look out for a pic entitled berbicara dengan Tuhan] for me to remember her always =). She gave me a packet of biscuit too XD It’s just plain sweet memory…AWESOME!

Are you Christ-ed?

February 19th, 2008 by grteoh

I presume most of you know about this Creator called God. *quirks a faint smile* Just read this with an open heart as I share my heart hrm? =) Thank you.

Just take a good look at your surrounding now, enlarge your vision a little and think of the universe; the stars, the ecosystem, the ocean and all His creations. Can you see the splendor of His majesty? Yes, He created them all. However the most majestic creation isn’t the universe itself, but men. God created men and intended for them to live forever with Him and in His presence.

Unfortunately, men sinned by disobeying God and from then henceforth, God departed from men and men were on their own. Since then, men have been trying to reconcile themselves back to the one Creator viz God Himself by justifying themselves through their deeds. Those are noble deeds, but they couldn’t fulfill the purpose.

In order to attain reconciliation, God had to send His only Son viz Jesus to the world to die for your sins. Picture this now. He was whipped, he was being spat at and was trampled by men and ultimately He had to carry the cross all the way to His death…Now the cross isn’t something smooth like the table which you’re having right now, it had splinters, big ones and it was heavy…He was crowned with thorns…But He loves you so much till the point that He was willing to die for you and I…

Jesus breathed His last breath and men were reconciled to God. Praise be to God, on the third day, Jesus was resurrected and ascended to heaven. Now, men can be in the presence of God at anytime and anywhere. The question is,"Are you willing to see for yourself the things that God can do in your life?"

If your answer is yes, please utter this prayer out loud and please send me an e-mail. (grteoh@gmail.com) I will catch up with you and will help you with where to take on from that point.

Prayer: God, I thank you for leading me to this blog entry. I confess my sins before you and I renounce them right now. I pray that Jesus, You’ll come into my life and have lordship over my life. I surrender each and every area of my life to you because I know that You will take good care of me.  Thank You once again and I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Congratulations! =D Now don’t forget to send me an e-mail hrm? ;) Take care and God bless! To those who didn’t pray this prayer, thank you so much for your precious time! =DD May God bless you too! =DD

Harken to my explanation!

February 3rd, 2008 by grteoh

To all my friends whom I deeply concern,

I’m not dead…yet, so now you know that I’m still alive =P Anyway, I’ve been really busy with my church leadership program and I seriously think that all of you need to know this…I am busy! XD Besides being busy with my leadership program/course, I’ve tons of assignments to do and basically, I really don’t have time for…lepaking. Even if I did, I’d spend my precious moment with my beloved. So I truly apologize for not being able to be hospitable and accountable. My apologies.

P.S Christopher is still the same, therefore no worries ;) Still crazy as always, in fact, crazier :p

Brain Teaser

January 8th, 2008 by grteoh

There are names of sixteen books of the Bible mentioned in the paragraph below. A minister found fifteen in twenty minutes, but it took him two weeks to find the sixteenth one. See how fast you can do it.

I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu; kept people looking so hard for the facts…..and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized.  But truth finally struck home to numbers of our readers. To others, it was a real job. We want to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found. A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now, for there really are sixteen names of book of the Bible in this paragraph.

P.S Time yourself when you play this game. Be honest with yourself, because if you don’t, you’ll lose out the fun part of it! =D So all the best! I’d recommend 5 minutes. =)

A tale of 2 soldiers. (This one really touches me)

December 29th, 2007 by grteoh

2 young men were fighting in the World War II during 1944. They had grown up together, played together, worked together and graduated together. They even ended up in the same platoon in the Europe during the war. It was in the midst of a fierce battle that one of these two became upset. The troop had returned behind the lines without his long-time friend. He told his commanding officer that he must go back into the front lines and find his friend. He just had to. He couldn’t go on without attempting a rescue. The C.O. told him there was no use trying to it, and if he did, it would mean risking his life. But this wasn’t enough to stop him. An hour later he returned with the lifeless body of his friend cradled in his arms. The C.O. scowled in anger, "You see, I told you it was useless to go out there!" The young soldier looked up at him and responded, "That’s where you’re wrong, sir." There was a pause. "You see, I got to him just in time to hear him say,"I knew you’d come."" It was worth everything to make it to him.

I was so touched by this story. Splendid!

A Tale of Three Necklaces-An entry by my dear Mellylo =’)

December 28th, 2007 by grteoh

This Christmas may yet be the best I will ever experience - though I’m
very clear about the fact that Christmas isn’t about me…not even
close…not at all.

It is not often that I get three necklaces from three different people
on Christmas (in fact, if I’m not wrong, it is the first time this is
happening), but yes, it REALLY happened this time.

It seems unusual that I should write about necklaces - but I need to
mention it for the sake of a dearly beloved brother. One had a
flower-type pendant, the other was a choker and the last was a chain
with three silver beads on it.

All three were beautiful in its own right, and I thank Paul and Charis
for the choker and chain respectively. But, the one that deserves
special mention is the flower-patterned pendant - given to me by my
dearest brother Christopher =DDDDDD

In fact, it was the first gift that I opened upon returning home after
lunch on Christmas. And when I saw it, a broad smile ran across my face
- so much so that I ran from my room to the kitchen to show my mum the
necklace.

Such was its beauty that I knew I had to wear it out for my family’s
Christmas dinner that night itself - otherwise I would not be doing
justice to it.

It is a gift I truly cherish and love - the same way Chris cherishes the tome I gave him - if not more.

We would probably try to outdo each other with how much we love each
other’s gifts, but, the gifts represent our brotherly-sisterly love for
each other.

It has been fantabulous and meaningful Christmas. Thank you my dear bro * hugggsss *

My reply: OH MY GOSH! *terus melts* that’s so…touching =’D aww…XD I’m
literally speechless right now, but my heart and mind are on a race
with one another, trying their very best to profess how much I love
you! =D *huggies* This is a very sweet post my dear sis Mellylo! =DD
*giggles madly XD*

Alas! The 27th Evergreen!

December 27th, 2007 by grteoh

This entry is written disregarding the feelings that the writer had had or is having due to the trauma of the accident. This entry is written with one and only one objective viz to commemorate the everlasting moments that he had with his beloved Cindy Mah. So sit back and the story will unfold right away…

It was past the wee hours of the morning, and the sky was blue with the sun hanging over it. That was when 2 individuals who had their feelings entwined a year ago decided to ride the cable car up to the Penang Hill. In the transition terminal, there was only a handful of people and there was this particular lady who spoke with an unusual accent and her tone was piercing to Christopher’s ears. (Ugh! Chris calls them the fir lovers)

Anyhow when the cable car started moving, we peered through the window into the thickly dense ferns and err…giant boulders and we snapped some random photos of them =P At the intersection of the 2 cable cars, there was a particular junction where you transit. So way up we go again XD.

A few moments later, we reached the top of Pg Hill and the sight was breathtaking! The air was so chilly( I even saw mist hovering around the area). So anyhow, I wanted to expose her to the Canopy Walk but aye, she declined the offer, saying it was too expensive(RM 5, not worth it). While we were walking, many cozy cottages caught our attention and well, there’s a camera and yup! You got it right! I took pictures of her =P So anyhow, she taught me a bit about flowers XD and we laughed over the National Treasure 2 jokes XD. LOL!

There wasn’t anything else that was intriguing, so we returned down. Phew, believe me. While we’re going down, the upcoming cable car was packed with ppl! Sardines! =P (Padan them, who asks them to never listen to 89.9) =P Plan ahead of time! XD

Evergreen moments post shall remain perpetual now. None should tamper with them without the writer’s permission. (In fact, if you’re not Cindy, forget about asking me) XD LOL!

Christopher Teoh: A single unfortunate event =P

December 27th, 2007 by grteoh

So yes, December the 27th 2007 marks the 1st anniversary for both my girlfriend and I. It was supposed to be a sweet and evergreen moment(it turned out to be anyhow) but unfortunately…

The green light turned yellow, I stepped on my brakes and that was when I heard the screeching sound of tyres! SCREECH!! and then a car knocked against my bumper with a loud BAM!! and immediately after that, I heard the shattering of glasses…my heart turned chill…the air was tense around me…I could hear my heart pounding inside my head. However, I regained consciousness and I got down to look at my car. To my horror, nothing happened to my car =P Just that the no. plate was split into half. No flaws were detected by my naked eyes. Spare the details, I managed to claim RM 20. Spare the sweet details of my evergreen moment in the next post…

Anyhow, I went to the mechanic later in the afternoon to get my car fixed and GUESS WHAT! RM200!!!! O_O" I was literally dumb founded! When the mechanic pointed out the damaged compartments, I was SHOCKED! How could I be so blind?! OH GOODNESS!!! Anyhow, I managed to reduce the price to RM180…so I bought my lesson for RM180…It’s expensive…at least to me…

My car’s fixed anyhow…*sigh* Oh don’t worry, I’ve no bruises…*sigh*

All thanks to my pair of legs.

December 26th, 2007 by grteoh

Aye, I had to get my car to the mechanic because apparently the alternator ‘kong’ out. So I drove my car there and left my key with him. In the meantime, I walked to Midlands Park and I acquired information about my webcam and oh well…negative feedbacks from everyone =.="

From there, I walked to Gurney Plaza =DD and I realized that I had like 4 hours to kill, so I decided to kill 2 hours by watching National Treasure 2! =DD Of course, it feels awkward to watch alone, especially when you’re laughing alone! XD LOL! It feels just weird when nobody seems to get the joke you’re laughing at! XD LOL! Oh, National Treasure 2 was as good as National Treasure =D But I think it’s funnier XD. So after the movie ended, I walked back to Midlands Park and from there back to the mechanic’s place. I had to wait for like an hour or two before it was completely done. Phew, thank God for handphones! I sms-ed Mellylo and we talked for quite a bit. Time flew like nobody’s business after that. =DD

*stretches* What a tiring day! But I had fun walking and walking and…walking XD Makes me feel youthful =P LOL!

Deja Vu

December 25th, 2007 by grteoh

Allow me to establish the fact that I’m the type which saves the best for last hrm. So the story unfolds…

In the afternoon, I was so eager to unwrap my Christmas gifts! Unfortunately, I had to wait for my mom’s consent because she said, "Wait-lah yoh. Let me assemble all the gifts together and snap a picture of them." I simply nodded with the slightest degree of disappointment. So, I crawled to bed =P After an hour or two, I woke up and she told me, "Cannot snap la, the gifts are way too many" and I was like =.=" (she wanted to snap using my sister’s phone but her phone was err…too ____(fill in the blank)).Dinner was next after that, and we went to Pasar Malam.Bought a pair of sandals. Forget about the details.

When I returned home, I showered and *grins* D MOMENT!*giggles* I started off with the smallest gift, like I said, save the best for last. And spare the details of the small gifts for our conversation, o ye who’s reading this =) So the last gift, which’s apparently the best gift, since it’s really precious and meant a lot to me, which was none other than my dear sis Mellylo’s gift was about to be unwrapped. So I pretended to be an idiot, :p err…giving a slight knock onto the gift, and scanning it high and low, beholding its wrapping paper’s beauty =P And so, when I was about to open it, my mom asked me to put on my new sandals and I did la. AND CRAP! It was a mixture of sandals!(Different design, same colour). CRAP! I had to rush back to the pasar malam and I got delayed.*sigh* Had to wait for the greenlight in the afternoon, and now, sandals prob pulak XD.Anyhow I rushed back, took another quick shower, and TAH DAH!I unwrapped the gift, and believe me! I was gasping for air and when I caught the slightest glimpse of it, my world literally stopped revolving. My jaw dropped. My eyes were wide opened. Slowly, I pulled out the book and to my amazement, it was not a book! It was a TOME!

A HARD COVERED CLASSICAL BOOK!COMPRISES OF 2 MAGNIFICENT STORIES, A CHRISTMAS CAROL AND THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!

I was grinning, cackling, and hugging the tome as though the tome was a source of my all. The best picture I could think of would be Gollum and the ring :p

I love her gift the most! It bears a profound meaning to me and I really cherish it =) Never before, I cherished anything as such of this book =)

MY HEARTY THANKS ONCE AGAIN, to my dearest sister, Melissa Darlyne Chow aka Mellylo =DDDDDDDD I LOVE YOU!!!!!!! =DDDDDD
