Beckoning for feedbacks!
Aye, I thought I could postpone the thought of choosing which Uni to enter …and so Pn Doreen walked in the class while we were revising chemistry which turned out to be the worst catastrophe ever! She walked in and briefed us about the procedures of application and so on. Hah! Inevitable eh? Anyway, as mentioned a few moments ago, chemistry was a total catastrophe! I couldn’t finish it in time! I was so tired that I decided to watch Neverending Story II upon reaching home, instead of spending my time in slumberland. It sure was interesting, seeing the stupidity of Bastian XD.
Anyway I need feedbacks from University students. If you happen to read this entry and coincidently happen to be a Uni student, kindly drop a comment, perhaps hrm…some advantages and weaknesses in your Uni. I’m sure there’s no ideal Uni in the world but I’d like to know more about the environment of education(conducive or not),facilities, the cost of living etc.

I think it’s only logical I talk about USM, right? :p
For you, USM will fit you nicely. Logistically it’s easy for you to move around. And being a Penangite, studying here would mean you can save A LOT of money (note the emphasis), as you won’t have to spend money getting bus tickets every single time you wanna go home.
Also, we have a good Christian fellowship which you can join.
Varsity-wise, USM is a good university where you can get the best. And if you’re talking about meeting other students from other states, you don’t even have to outstation. In USM we have different students from different states.
The libraries here are good too, although Internet is a problem (but if you’re a Penangite with Internet connection, that should not be a problem, right).
Think about it. When you graduate, it will be so much easier for your family and friends to come celebrate with you. Even I can come for your convo.
Last but not least, USM is a very green and soothing place. Thanks to the vice-chancellor, USM, known as Kampus Sejahtera, is engulfed in lush greenery all over. I’m sure you will find that a plus point when you consider your options.
The final decision lies with you though. If you still wanna pursue your tertiary education in other varsities, be my guest. If you think from there, you can gain all the experience you wanna gain - by all means go ahead. Just make sure you follow God’s will.

Hey Mel, that comment of yours helped a lot! I’m still keeping my options open though because lately, it seems that UM is gaining much popularity…I need hrm…Li Hsien! XD

Ya know, you could go to a bunch of edu fairs when they’re around to help urself decide. That’s how my bro got some ideas and a WHOLE LOT OF PROMOTIONAL PAPERS!!!! anyway, when ur done making ur choice, u could recycle all the darn papers and make money while ur at it
anyways, im sure my bro would be glad to help you. God bless you to make the right choices buddy! Peace out!

Yup thanks Li Mei. I know edufairs sure help but I rather hear from the students themselves. It’s more ‘accurate’

Hello Little Bro,
Wah, Big liao ah. Wanna enter Uni d. Time flies….
anyway ur question of Um. My opinion…*Drumroll*…
Um IS Great!! hahaha I’m surprised myself but i think its a good place to be in la. Biased opinion but hey, It’s what i think. I made load of friend from all over Malaysia they are all great people. We have a great CF called PKVUM-PErsaudaraan Kristian Varsiti UM.The Facilities are ok. got a pool, Library at every Faculty and the best Library in SEA.
Midvalley is just RM1.50 away by bus. RM1 if ur sharing a cab with 3 other friends. 1 Utama, The curve, Ikea, Ikano Power center. Tesco is all RM2 away by cab if share with 3 other friends.
Living cost depends on you. There is SS2, Seksyen 17 where mixed rice is only RM2.80 for um and Utar students. Overall should not be more then RM500 a month if ur staying at hostel.
Feel free to give me a call or drop me an E-mail or sms for more info. I can only remember this much now, Ok?
Till then little bro:)
